The plans for the building are complete (see drawing).

Building starts.

1928:

Nathan Mendels opens his jewellery shop.

1942:

The Mendels family goes into hiding.

1945:

Suzanne Mendels reopens the boutique.

1966:

Jeweller Van der Velde moves into the premises.

Christianne gives the premises a new lease of life.

2019:

Memorial stone (Stolperstein) placed in memory of Nathan Mendels: died in 1944 whilst in hiding.
